Let’s talk about self-care. It seems like a buzzword these days, but it’s so important because this is the key to knowing ourselves and coming home to ourselves. Self-care is your birthright, so today we’re talking about self-care—not as a fancy spa-like image you might see on Instagram, but as a way to give yourself the nurturing you need to be a happy, thriving individual.

“Self-care is about getting in tune with what it is you need to feel truly nourished and cared for—with the goal of coming home to yourself.”

Resources:

“Caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation, and that is an act of political warfare.” -Audre Lorde

I would love to hear from you!

How do you give yourself self-care? What programmed thoughts that prevent you from giving yourself the self-care you need are you going to release?
