It’s time to move from talking about what we desire, to actually creating it in our lives.

We’ve got a vision for a different world, one in which we’re connected to the land, ourselves and our communities. Let’s practice making that a reality.

I believe change happens in small steps. It begins by coming together, and devoting ourselves to new ways.

Virtual Retreat &
Deepening Practice

This retreat has already happened.

The next retreat, Land, will be happening May 21st.

Re-Wilding the Self

Change happens when we actually show up and do things differently. *And doing things differently is so much easier when we are together.

The Tending the Flame Virtual Retreat & Deepening Practice offers a pathway forward through real-time connection, ritual, & practice.

Each of these virtual retreats will dive deep on an area of our lives, based on my book Root & Ritual, that I believe offer a pathway to the meaningful changes we are desiring. These virtual retreats are an opportunity for you to carve out time on your calendar to live out the changes you crave in an embodied way.

This retreat has already happened.

The next virtual retreat experience, Land, will be happening May 21st.

Once each season, we will gather together for a virtual retreat followed by a 2-week deepening practice.

Re-Wilding the Self

a Tending the Flame virtual retreat & deepening practice

Many of us have been taught to think we should be a certain way: less emotional, more productive, a different sized body - in order to be worthy of love, success, and belonging. We have forgotten that we are uniquely-designed beings that have our own individual rhythms, seasons, and cycles - just like the natural world.

We are not machines. We are human beings, residing in animal bodies. We experience hormonal cycles, along with seasonal shifts in energy and mood. And we thrive with our hands in the dirt, our bare feet on the soil.

And yet, we spend so much time and energy looking to societal expectations to define us. We struggle with a lack of self-trust, and turn outside ourselves for the answers instead. We forget to return to our own natural ways of being. And in doing so, we continuously stray from the truth of who we are.

We are, after all, exquisitely designed heirloom seeds, inscribed with the wisdom and stories of our ancestors. We are deeply connected, intrinsically, to the living world all around us (even if it’s under concrete) - to the wild.

During this virtual retreat, we’ll explore the beliefs we’ve inherited, the unrealistic expectations we place on ourselves, and the ways in which our disconnection from the land and our physical bodies has led us further from our true needs and desires.

We’ll tap into the energy of early spring (for those of us here in the Northern Hemisphere) and feel into the ways we want to tend to our own internal quickening and awakening. We’ll explore the parts of our life we want to do differently, be in practice with one another, and co-regulate our nervous systems through these challenging times together.

Re-wilding is about unlearning the ways we have been told to be & embracing the ways we innately are.

My prayer is that you don’t go back to living in the same way you were after this experience. My prayer is that you integrate something - perhaps even a small thing - into your life moving forward and are forever changed. One small step, one gathering, at a time.

Following our time together, you’ll receive a 2-week long deepening practice via email to further integrate this work into your daily life.

While I know that everyone has different capacities, resources, time and space available to them, I believe we all deserve and can meet our desire to deepen into a practice of re-wilding ourselves.

It’s time to reclaim your rooted sense of self.

Let this virtual retreat be a gift to yourself.

Why a virtual retreat?

In subsequent seasons, we’ll gather for retreats on the other areas of my work: Land, Lineage and Community. Choose to sign up for just one retreat, or all four throughout the year.

Here’s what I know to be true: The work of creating change in our lives and returning to ourselves is easier when journeyed through together, with the time and space to deepen into a shared practice and embodied experience of connection.

On March 12th, we’ll gather together on Zoom for 4 hours. (Don’t worry, there will be pee and tea breaks! I’ll require those too)

We’ll engage in rituals and conversation. You’ll receive worksheets and journaling prompts. We’ll have time for connection, and celebration. I’ll guide you through this process, ensuring you feel deeply held during our time together. All you need to do is carve out the time, arrive, and be as present as possible.

Here’s how this will work:

Let's move from information overload to embodied practice.

We consume so much information every day. We are bombarded with ideas and inspiration for how to change our lives, and what we “should” be doing differently. But the best way to truly shift our ways of being is through togetherness, ritual, accountability, communion… and then devotion and commitment to a practice in small, digestible steps.

And so, I invite you to gather with me and other curious, creative beings as we do the steady, meaningful work together.

If you’re here, I imagine you are craving a slower pace of life. You want to live in a more meaningful way, to feel more connected to the land, to your body and soul, and to a community you can be your truest self with. And you might be struggling to make that happen. Because it’s straight up hard to do that in a society that demands so much of us.

I believe the way we shift our culture, the way we shift our disconnection from one another, from our bodies, from the land, and our ancestors, is through taking small steps, one after the other.

My life’s journey has shown me that we aren’t meant to do any of this alone, that we thrive when we are held in sacred circle, in community. Most of the changes I have made in my life have come from gathering with others, and then taking small and incremental steps to create the shifts I am longing for. That is the model I am offering here for you as well.

I am a writer, host of the Belonging podcast, circle and retreat facilitator, and community tender. I wrote the book, Root & Ritual: Timeless Ways to Connect to Land, Lineage, Community, & the Self. I’ve dedicated my life and work to supporting women to experience a deep sense of belonging by connecting with the cycles of nature, ancestral wisdom, working with their hands, and being in community.

I have spent the last many years gathering and holding communities, and hosting retreats and workshops. I know how much I have benefited from being held in spaces such as these, and I love nothing more than holding that space for others as well.

I so hope you’ll join us.

A bit about me:

YOUR INVESTMENT

This is our "pay it forward" option, where the extra money you pay helps to support the folks on the lower end of the sliding scale. You can think of this price as an opportunity to both join us and to support your fellow community members while you're at it. You are able to pay for "wants" and spend little time worrying about securing necessities in your life.

Kin Support
$197

This is the actual cost of retreat, and is meant for folks who can comfortably meet all of their basic needs (food, housing, transportation, medical care), and who have expendable income to regularly purchase things like books, fancy coffee drinks, and online subscriptions, etc. You may be paying off debt or working to build savings, but you also have access to steady income.

Full Price
$157

Reduced
$97

Please be mindful that if you opt into a lower tiered price when you can truthfully afford a higher price, you are limiting access to those who could truly benefit from the gift of financial flexibility. You being honest about your financial situation helps us to grow a healthy and sustainable community. It also respects the work of Becca and her team.

I am offering these virtual retreats on a tiered system as part of my commitment to financial accessibility and economic justice. This pricing system allows each person to consider their own class privilege when joining. Please read the following criteria and determine which price is appropriate for you.

Already know you’d like to join us for future virtual retreats and want to commit now?

This price is meant for folks who would find enrolling in this retreat at full price to be a sacrifice, but it would not create true hardship.

FAQ'S

I have a question about whether or not this is for me. How can I get in touch with you to ask?

Who is this virtual retreat experience for?

Will this be a welcoming place for my marginalized identity(ies)?

What are people saying about the Tending the Flame experience with you?

What’s your refund or cancellation policy?

I designed this experience specifically for for open-hearted, soulful women (anyone who identifies as femme or female) and non-binary beings who are curious about stepping into a more earth and community-aligned way of being in their lives that our current systems of living don’t readily provide. It is a program for the question askers, the community tenders (and those that are dreaming it in), as well as budding ritual crafters, caretakers, and deep feelers of this world. You do not need to be of any particular spiritual practice or lineage, but open to the practices I regularly offer in my work (connecting to breath, living seasonally, animist re-enchantment, ancestral connection, and returning to ritual).

Absolutely, yes. We welcome all of you and make space for that to be celebrated and honored.

Here are a couple of testimonials from folks who took the live experience devoted to lineage last fall:

“It has sparked such aliveness and interest in going deeper…It was such a joy to connect and listen to such powerful beings.”
- Megan

“I love the very realness of it…None of the small talk when meeting someone in another siutation that feels awkward and superficial. This has been something I have been needing/craving for a very long time, even if it is online.”

- Kayla

I am unable to offer any refunds for this program, so please be 100% sure you are in when you sign up.

Feel free to email us at support@beccapiastrelli.com and we’ll discuss. We’ll support you in making the best decision for you.
