conscious dying & death midwifery jerri grace lyons

Recently, I went through a death midwife training, and it’s something that I’ve been getting so many questions about ever since, so today on the Belonging Podcast, I’ve invited Death Midwife, Death Educator, and Founder and Director of Final Passages, Jerrigrace Lyons, to join me in talking about our simultaneous aversion and fascination with death. We’re talking about conscious dying and how to consider our options to make choices around our own deaths and the deaths of our loved ones to truly connect with them and aid in our grieving process. And how this embracing and connection with death can bring a depth of awareness and celebration into what it means to be alive.

“It just feels so immense—there’s so much love that fills the room. It’s hard to explain to people, but if they’ve been at a birth, the feeling is very similar.” -Jerrigrace Lyons
