Strawberry Watermelon Facial Recipe

Hey there,

creative gal!

You’ve landed on a post I wrote a few years ago -
back when I was known as The Dabblist and was exploring all sorts of ways I could create beautiful things with my hands. It was a powerful time for me — awakening my creativity after suppressing it for so long — but this space has since evolved to reflect the woman I’m becoming.

Strawberry Watermelon Facial

I love late summer and I love an easy spa facial made with food.

Strawberries gently exfoliate your skin and help to combat skin damage while the high water content of watermelon helps to re-hydrate.

This recipe is great for normal to oily skin*, and you can snack on the leftover ingredients.

Strawberry Watermelon Facial

Strawberry Watermelon Facial

  • 2 ripe strawberries
  • 1/4 cup watermelon
  • 1 tsp raw honey

Gently mash the strawberries in a bowl with the watermelon. Add in the honey and mix together with a fork, draining any excess water.

Apply the mixture to clean, damp skin and leave on for 5 minutes. Rinse with warm water and moisturize.

*If you have dry skin, add in a little olive or jojoba oil for added moisture.
