Hey there,

creative gal!

You’ve landed on a post I wrote a few years ago -
back when I was known as The Dabblist and was exploring all sorts of ways I could create beautiful things with my hands. It was a powerful time for me — awakening my creativity after suppressing it for so long — but this space has since evolved to reflect the woman I’m becoming.

yummy summer drink

I thought I'd make good use of the strawberry bourbon I made last month, and create a Strawberry Mint Julep.

Ingredients

10 fresh Mint Leaves

1/4 tsp honey (to taste)

2 oz Strawberry Bourbon

1 oz soda water

In your glass, muddle the mint leaves and honey. Add ice, and pour in the bourbon. Mix in the soda water, and stir. Add a sprig of mint (and perhaps a strawberry), and enjoy!
