Here's a quick way to properly clean your makeup brushes in a non-toxic and effective manner.
Combine a tablespoon of white vinegar with a cup of hot water. Soak your brushes for 20 minutes. Then give your brushes a hot, then cold rinse before patting dry.
Great tip! Did the brushes smell like vinegar after? I’ve been looking for a way to clean my brushes without buying a $18 bottle of branded chemicals.
The hot and cold rinse after the vinegar soak totally rids of the smell. You are the third person to ask me that! I agree, vinegar has a pretty potent aroma.
