I'm continuing my love affair with lavender by channeling it into the healing powers of Epsom salt.
Epsom salt is Magnesium Sulphate, an essential mineral for our bodies used best through soaking in water. It can be used to treat ingrown toenails, sore muscles and joints, bites, and even fatigue. I count on its soothing properties when I'm sore from a particularly intense workout.
That's how I got the idea for a gift for your athlete friend, who might really benefit from a nice lavender salt bath.
I picked up this salt from the drug store for a couple of bucks. So cheap!
Just add 2-3 scoops of this mixture into a steaming bath.
