This simple yet effective mask is meant to hydrate and tighten skin while also diminishing puffiness.
I love the creamy consistency created by combining the cucumber and powdered milk and hello! there are only those two ingredients in this recipe. That just goes to show that nature knows best with her healing ingredients. I like to tell people, "If you can't eat it, then you shouldn't put it on your skin."
This delightful recipe encourages ritual in its application too - encouraging you to slow down from your busy day-to-day pace and take a moment to pamper your peepers.

Cucumber Milk Eye Mask
- 2 tsp cucumber (peeled, seeded, and chopped small)
- 1 tsp powdered milk
Using a mortar and pestle (or a fork in a shallow dish), mush the ingredients together until they form a thick paste. Put in the fridge for 30 minutes to chill and harden. If it gets too hard, you can add a few drops of water to thin it out.

To apply, close your eyes and lie down.
Apply the mixture to your entire eye area, including your lids.
Take some deep, cleansing breaths and lay there for 5-10 minutes.
Wash off with cool water.

Again! We are totally in sync. I just made a cucumber gel eye mask with aloe vera but yours sounds heavenly and nourishing. And, let me be the first to say how AMAZING your skin looks in this photo. Seriously, it’s flawless. Have a great day, Becca.

Ohh, I want to know more about your cucumber gel eye mask! I make one with cucumber juice and aloe vera as well, and it’s totally magical. Thanks for the skin compliments. It’s been a journey with that one, so I receive your compliment. xoxo!
