Chocolate Coconut Chia Mousse - Becca Piastrelli

You’ve landed on a post I wrote a few years ago -
back when I was known as The Dabblist and was exploring all sorts of ways I could create beautiful things with my hands. It was a powerful time for me — awakening my creativity after suppressing it for so long — but this space has since evolved to reflect the woman I’m becoming.

Mmmmm raw chocolate mousse. Creamy smooth delight born of the powerful combination of antioxidant rich cacao powder + Omega 3 packed chia seeds + vitamin filled coconut milk. This is an easy method for making a healthier version of chocolate mousse using the chia seeds as a thickener.

Chocolate Pudding with Chia Seeds

Place all the ingredients in a bowl and blend on high speed using a hand blender. Once well blended, pour the mixture into individual ramekins and place in the fridge. The mousse will set after approximately 1 hour. I like to let them sit overnight. Once set, it's ready to eat!
