It's no secret that I love juicing.
And my go-to green juice recipe usually involves the following ingredients: romaine lettuce, kale, celery, cucumber, apple, and lime/lemon.
I think this concoction is super delicious (not to mention nutrient-rich and ah-mazing for your body), but understand that the flavor can be a little intense for new juicers. I've had friends give me some real talk and tell me my green juice recipe tastes like grass or dirt. I was trying to think back to the first time I had green juice, and how I felt about it. I probably didn't think it was super tasty, but it's hard to remember now because I have come to love it so much.
So here are some recipes that a juicing beginner might find, I dare say, tolerable while starting out.
Apple Pear Beet Ginger
3 small red beets
1 inch piece of ginger
6 celery stalks
3 leaves kale
4 stalks rhubarb
Watermelon Green Juice
2 cups watermelon
handful of kale
2 celery stalks
2 tbsp mint
